Century for Peeters

5 September 2014 is Bob Peeters' 100th day in charge of Charlton.

Has he had a good innings so far..?

  • 100 not out.
  • 10 competitive games is an absolute minimum to judge a team on and a manager should get longer than that before he's assessed.

We'll know more come December but the signs are positive. I'll hold off full judgement till then.
  • Impressed so far.
Sat behind dugout for the Colchester game and liked the way he was "encouraging" and sometimes "mildly bollocking" his players. Seemed very good with our "young guns"!

From what I have seen & heard so far I like the big man.

    Thanks Colin
  • Apparently he gave Bikey a bit of a rifting last week.

For this feat alone he deserves respect
  • He has replaced the legend Kevin Peeterson in the batting lineup.
who was dropped because he did not want the chairman of selectors choices in the team.
also he did get a couple of ducks in his last innings.

So far this tall unknown player has hit some streaky fours and some dodgy running between the wicket,
even glaring in the face of the other captain when he hit a boundry to mid-off dispite aiming to mid-on.

The old farts in the pavillion and the young guns in the beer tent have really taken to him as he has kept the score board racing along.

The real test will be when we play the rough lot from the sink estate who bowl bouncers and sledge constantly.
and i hear that no one likes them, but these blighters just don't care

    IT's JUST NOT CRICKET
  • 100 matches in charge, that will be the century to savour, because to last that long he will have been doing a great job.

Lets hope so and enjoy the ride.
