The fact that he's scored 12 in Ligue 1 just shows how poor that league is. Couldn't get a game in the championship. Players like Payet are 1 in a million coming from France. Look at Thauvin etc that Newcastle signed.

Football is sometimes utterly baffling. Can Toulouse really have paid £5m for him? He was only with Tigres a few months, and before that had not featured for Caen this season . Last season with Caen (in L1) he scored 12 times, which I guess is decent, as they are a struggling smaller team. But £5m? I looked up Toulouse and they got crowds of between 11k -15k for their last three games. Delort did score their opener in a 4.-0 win Sunday.

He's most probably a 'home boy' Harry. But he might have liked it in London - Wigan really is a bit of a hole, though it's one of my favourite away stadiums.
