He's an inch shorter than Kermogant. I can't believe Roland Duchatelet and his cronies forced a 6 foot half inch French striker out of the door in January, nearly condemning us to relegation in an attempt to set us up as a feeder club for his so called network of second-rate Belgian teams, only to buy a 5 foot 11 and a half French striker in the summer. This is completely insane, and goes so against the Charlton ethic, which RD and his henchmen will never understand, of never letting anything go. All we've done is lost an inch. How is that going to get us promoted?

Charlton having that extra inch could have helped us keep championship status...
Me having that extra inch could have helped me keep my ex girlfriend...
Typical of our new owners and their lack of ambition for the club. If we do not get Delort "the fantastic Frenchman" RD has sent a clear message of intent to us, the Charlton fans, and I fear for us. He just hates the French - it's a Belgian cultural thing. RD vous etes dechirant le coeur a partir de nous club de football.
Would be a disaster if he came here. The first time he tries one of his fancy step-overs, gets it wrong and the fans get straight on his case, draining all confidence out of the poor lad. He'll then hang around in the reserves for a season or two, before dropping into non-league obscurity, finding solice in the bottom of a bottle, propping up the bar and telling his mates "I once played for Charlton", to which they reply "yeah, of course you did mate, now it's your round"...................poor lad
Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino has said that there is no chance of the club signing French forward Andy Delort, according to the Yorkshire Post’s chief football writer Phil Hay. Despite other reports linking the club with the 22-year-old Tours striker, Cellino has stated to Hay that the club is not interested in the Charlton Athletic and Brentford target. Delort has gained many admirers after finishing as the top scorer in Ligue 2 last season and has had offers from both clubs in England and France.
The club is yet to replace former captain Ross McCormack’s goals and fans will fear that unless Cellino performs a u-turn, Leeds could miss out on another prolific goalscorer.

His decision could hinge on how good a packed lunch his GF makes ;-)

Sods law we will sign him, and be giving each other high fives on here.
Then Leeds will go and sign Nick Powell.
I think I'd prefer this guy, not saying Powell isn't good, he's great but I think we are nicely stacked in midfield, this bloke as no.9 could be great
of course we have no real idea how good Delort is anyways so it's a bit of a shot in the dark
