Has anyone had any response from the club on a matter they have complained about? ?
Two free directors box tickets after a Valley Party candidate and a steward got there rows confused and pulled me out for wrongly accusing me of having stolen match tickets during the Swindon home game in 97. Missed 20 mins of the game due to having to explain to the feds and then the ticket office. Got escorted back to my seat whilst giving words of advice to steward and friend.
Recently had a box at the Valley for my Cousins 50th. Service was very poor, with over stretched staff. Following a complaint, the club made up for it brilliantly with good manners, a match day meal for 4 and complimentary match tickets for 2 guests.
Made a complaint to the club back in 2003 after letting down a special needs school i helped out at.Peter Varney responded went down to The Valley had a chat got some goodies for the school and ended up getting offered a position in Junior Reds which I did for 10 years.
We had reason to complain last season & the club were useless - made their decision before hearing all sides of the story & were not open to any other discussions.
I complained couple seasons ago, after our premier league years faded, goal scorers like Mendonca & Bent disappeared. The club responded fantastically, and signed Simon Church.
I complained about not being able to get into the Liverpool home game atSelhurst because apparently you needed to bring a membership card for the one and only time (and about 15000 Liverpool fans evidently had one with them) I got a personal letter from Lennie but I'm still waiting for free match tickets...
