The ground is called "The Dripping Pan", because the site was where monks from the local priory used to dry water from the nearby river to make salt. This also accounted for the pitch being sunk below ground level and being surrounded by grass banks on all sides.
I genuinely read the title in the past tense and thought the thread was about a group of youngsters hanging about Lewes up to no good etc.
This close to the season it might give us a good idea of what players are to stay with the developmental team and which of those are going to be more involved in the first team. I don't watch the developmental team at all, so would be glad to get some insight from people as to what players might be able to step up this season. I know about Gomez, Piggott and Fox, are there any others?

Anyone know how much to get in?

Ollie Lee is the son of Rob Lee.
Edit: He's not...
Thought he was at Birmingham.
interestng to see Nego in this squad as he has played in a couple of first team friendlies.
Entertaining half full of chances, with Charlton going closest through Zak Ansah. No goals yet though. #cafc
They'll be dancing on the streets of Lewes
