reminds me of a story my old man told me about going to see charlton against one of the bristol teams. Got a lift with another addick (forget the name) and swears blind that guy drove so quick he was back in kent about an hour and a half after he left the stadium after the game.
Am up the M5 in Gloucester, if that's any good. Bristol is a great city, and Bath and Cheltenham well worth a visit. The oval ball holds sway a bit down here in the West Country, though being a fan of both games, it just means I have something to do every Saturday
Hi all. Thommo im in Bedmnster/Southville too. I wonder if its you ive seen wandering around in the Charlton shirt! So far we love it here. It has so much going on and certainly has the diversity and feel of a big city yet doesnt feel like one. Essex al im an essex boy born and bred so wont be changing my username! Lol
I love Bristol, having lived there for about 12 years in total - including 3 at the University. Fabulous city, full of many great memories. Are Bell's Diner (in St. Paul's) & the Dugout (on Park Row) still going by any chance?

Ive a close friend Steve who is a Charlton supporter and lives up in Windmill Hill, we both stood at the front of the east Terrace in the early seventies. Great little areas round Bedminster / Southville and Windmill hill
