  • Thanks for the pic of the legend that is Terry-Thomas or Thomas Terry Hoar Stevens to give his proper name
  • No probs.
50k a year medical bills led him to poverty, sadly.
  • I blend up every morning. A quick and easy way to get your fruit and green veg and the fibre that goes with it. Banana, apple, blueberries, raspberries, orange, water melon, spinach, broccoli. Organic if possible, especially apples and spinach. Some non fat Greek yogurt for protein. Two tablespoons of olive oil and half a tomato. And finally, some water to help it all blend up. That's usually all I have for lunch with some nuts and celery. I do vary the fruit/veg, sometimes using kale, kiwi, pineapple, peaches or whatever is going.

I know it sounds a bit over the top and very Californian :-) but it does the trick for me and in the evenings I just about eat anything I want with a glass or two of red wine.

I use the bog standard Oster blender that you can get for $30 in the Target store out here in the States.

lived in lost angles for 25 years, and although not a big fan of the u.s. on many levels, i don't understand why "californian" is often a pejorative term for those outside the state? in the southern part, we enjoy 300+ sunny & warm-hot days a year, abundant fresh produce, 100's of miles of beaches, beautiful scenery outside the cities & a lot more...(yes, i'm trying to leave for the tropics, but it's still like being on your hols a lot of the time here:>)

Tbh we are on a football forum :), top 5 bar snacks would have more hits than Pete Doherty.
