My.country first always has been then charlton

When you consider your team can achieve something yearly you have 80 opportunities to see you win the league or the cup

You get 20 world cups or 20 European championships on average and I had my 10th this year

I would for go all charlton success from now till I died to watch England be champions of the world or even just champions of Europe

For the first time ever I tried to let my head rule my heart and agree this yr it was about building experience for the young squad and to expect little

Against Italy I felt we showed fear and played inside of the level we could

I honestly thought we would avenge it against urgay

Yet the old England appeared no quality no commitment no ideas and a cowardly and club performance from the person the young ones were looking too

The performance from Steven Gerrard was without doubt the worst performance of an English captain I have ever witnessed


This one hurt as much if not more than all the others

As a fan Base and a nation we deserve a team that delivers

Gutted we're out. Completely taken the buzz out of the World Cup. I love driving down the road and seeing all the England flags. Would love us to win the World Cup or the euros at least once in my lifetime. Although I don't think it will happen.

I've applied to be notified when packages for euro 2016 are released. I was so jealous seeing all the England in Brazil. Wishing I was there so decided to do 2016

I do as I said I am very Patriotic, my point was if it was a choice between one or the other Charlton would be my choice

We should all want England to do well! If we are English anyway! Just as we want Charlton to do well - as they don't compete with each other, there is no choice to make.
