So Riga is leaving us.....another one who couldn't agree with RD on the future of the club.
Peeters is favourite to take over.....ex-millwall stiker! Nice one RD, you really are trying your best to destroy our club. Thank god I didn't buy a season ticket.
Peeters is manager of some random Belgium club so expect an influx of more, average Belgian players 'on loan until the end of the season'.

Lets face it - Peeters is an unknown quantity, none of us actually know much about the bloke or his managerial skills, but weren't we in the same position with Riga? Just hold tight, we're in for an interesting summer.
How do do you know riga couldn't agree ? There's a lot more to it then that ! Typical Charlton life idiots .. Slagging him off before he is even in charge !

You know what I'm also glad you didn't buy a season ticket .. Sitting around people like you would wind me right up
I wasn't keen on Riga like many, but would have settled on him staying for the sake of stability.
It reports on Sky Sports that he couldn't agree on the direction of the club. I didn't make it up. That was the same for Powell
I don't need a world famous manager to please me, just one who has demonstrated they can manage, preferably in England, and who has achieved something.....So again, like many, I am disappointed to hear a manager looks set to take over, who I have never heard of, doesn't have a great track record at the clubs he has managed, hasn't managed in England before and used to play for bloody Millwall ! What make him stand out above the others, apart from the fact he is from Belgium - which is a shock. Not!
I have watched my team fall from grace, pick themselves up and fall again. I can live with that. But for me, I guess when a club gets taken over by a multi-millionaire, there is an assumption that money, big money, will be ploughed into the club and squad. It happens for other clubs that have been subject to takeovers. I appreciate it doesn't always work out, but just don't see this guy doing that?
Yes I am disappointed and frustrated, and the real reason I didn't buy a season ticket this year is because I do not want to go to the game on my own (from Essex), but unfortunately, after last season my son has chosen to support another team and isn't the slightest bit interested in supporting Charlton which I am absolutely gutted about, but can understand why, and my fear is that other kids will choose to do the same.
