Good move by EUFA to legitimise Europa League.
I would like to see a play off between 4th and FA Cup winners to qualify for the final Champions League place.4 -
Exactly. If we had managed to beat Sheff Utd the momentum would have surely propelled us to the FA Cup Final, then onto the Europa League, which of course we would have won and therefore qualified for the UEFA Champions League.NomadicAddick said:Sorry if this has already been mentioned but I only heard this yesterday; the winners of next seasons Europa League will qualify for the UEFA Champions League. How will it work if both finalists qualify for the Champion's League via league position? What if they're only in the Europa League because they finished third in their Champion's League group?0

For once enjoying watching the tv pundits. Interesting debate between Reid, Strachan and Gerrard about Balotelli disobeying the manager's instructions and taking penalty ahead of Henderson. I found myself thinking about what they were talking about, rather than how annoying they were. Pleasant change!0

Watching Athletic Bilbao v Torino on TV here. Looks like an amazing atmosphere at San Mames tonight and it is pissing it down, just how they like it. Nicely poised at 2-2 from the first leg so a great bit of Thursday night football.0
