Come on Roland "sort it out"!

I know this is landing on deaf ears BUT after our 'great' finish to the season, I would have thought RD would of at least made a statement, even thanking the team, the supporters for staying in the Championship!
Yes I know it is still early days but why NOTHING, granted the pitch is good news but without our best players and a bit of ambition, direction the much maligned pitch could be the best thing about CAFC next season.
I also know RD will not break the bank with new players (which I agree with by the way) but there are players already released that would be good for us along with our current out of contract players. So come on Charlton lets talk to the supporters or at least give us some idea what we have to look forward to?!?!

  • Because of the network model, I'm not sure our league position is absolutely essential to the plans Roland has. I think running a tight ship with fluid management that is open to exchanging players and fielding youngsters is the most important thing, and as such obvious squad strengthening isn't the priority it would be for 'one-club' owners.

Very early days, but it's why I think it could be a less than satisfying summer from the fans point of view.

Interesting view but a dangerous one if true. Maintaining a second tier status for Charlton would seem a minimum requirement in order for the finances to work. A 27,000 seater stadium and high profile academy will not be able to be sustained without huge subsidy if the club are relegated and will undoubtedly need subsidy even I the Championship.
