Evina leaving the club

  • No loss there, thanks for trying
  • Did ok until this season until he was shocking. Needs regular football to improve, so thanks for what you have done Ceddy and good luck for the future.
  • Good luck Ceddy, I reckon he could do ok in league 2.
  • Good luck Cedric. He was willing to play in positions that didn't suit: something Powell himself didn't like doing. I hope you have a long and fulfilling career, you're more than capable and talented.
  • Definitely time for him to move on, clearly last summer Powell wasn't desperate to re-sign him, and with the number of good young LBs in the academy for backup to Wiggins, maybe we shouldn't have re-signed him last summer, and used the money elsewhere.
  • Bradford wanted to loan him in January maybe they will get him a contract
  • Crawley also tweets Danny Green gone.
  • The deadwood is being cast out to sea thank the Lord

There's plenty of it drifting around let's just hope some doesn't get washed up onto our beach :-0
  • Yes good luck to him, I think he will do well at another club. Probably as a left sided midfielder.
  • Good luck to Cedric Evina for the future. I hope you find a club where you can get a decent run of games, develop your game and gain success.
  • Decent player, but he was never first choice here.

Wiggins was first choice from the start. Recently, Fox has leapt in front of Evina to be second choice.

I think Evina could still be a good League One left back.

Horrible word to use about another human being. No good enough in your view and mine but "deadwood" really grates.
    Errr it's a saying...

He's not actually being cast out to sea either....

I'm sure ceddy and green are lovely chaps...very sorry if I offended either of them, I'll try again....

The underutilised squad members are being relieved of their duties and thrust into the realms of unemployment
I'll have you know Danny Green is an entrepreneur.. Baller
  • I really hope Ceddy kicks on.

Enigma of a player - product of the Arsenal academy; he's got a decent 1st touch, good engine and pace
He really should be doing better.

But his concentration and decision making was often suspect, and he seemed afraid to play.
Complete lack of confidence or belief in his own ability.

If he can find the right club where he can play games and settle down, he might very well still make an impact.

    Good luck, Ceddy.

The underutilised and underperforming squad members, be they entrepreneurs or otherwise, are being relieved of their duties and thrust into the realms of unemployment :-)
  • Good luck Ceddy

  • Standard Liege?
  • Green attracting Birmingham (Obviously disappointing that they did not get relegated), Bradford and MK Dons
  • 23 apps in 3 years says it all really.
  • Considering he was given the number three shirt and also how much time Wiggins Spent out injured that is a shockingly low number of appearances!

They can have Green and we'll have Burke.
  • Good luck Ceddy.
  • Saw him in the Reading League Cup game and was quite excited. Shame he didn't live up to the expectations, but best of luck with wherever he ends up.
  • There is a decent player in there, for some reason he went backwards between last season and this.
  • Good luck for your future in the game, Dave.

( Only those at the recent NWKA Q & A will appreciate this .....)

If that's the level of player Birmingham are after, then they're clearly targeting relegation next season!
