We want to cop a non-league ground on a good day out to an interesting seaside town: Whitstable, Herne Bay, Deal Town, Hastings United.

Herne Bay is" an interesting seaside town" .......?

wouldn't class any of them as interesting if you ask me!

Shame we have no home game this season was thinking of bringing my little boy along for the first time. Maybe 3 years old is too young anyway.

I brought our son from nine days old so three years is fine. Just be prepared with distraction techniques when he gets a bit bored.

Point taken! How about a pre-season friendly at Margate, or Dover Athletic to mark their promotion?

That may be because you are a man of Kent - or a Kentish man - and those places are too close to home. For us sarf-eas' Londoners, Whitstable or Hastings would be a treat!

Whitstable is dull, Ramsgate or Margate are much better for a good night out.
