I should lol - but I'll rejoin when the season starts. It was unbelievable in the summer after last season that they charged full price for the limited content they put on. Not having the player of the year is a joke - this is a subscription service - if we just pay and not complain it will always be crap. I'm fed up of player services for other teams being much better than ours - whoever is running it is not giving value. Rant - over
Unfortunately there was a problem with the phone line in the North Stand lounge and it was too late to fix. The lads a recording a show which will hopefully be available to listen to tomorrow. Apologies for the inconvenience, it's nothing to do with Player not working it's a problem our end. Hugely frustrating, they were working hard to resolve the problem but to no avail.
Point taken, but player is often not as good as that for other clubs - examples being friendly matches that are covered when ours don't, commentry dying suddenly and often being minutes behind the action. I've gone on to the players of other clubs and got additional content in games we were involved in that was not available through CAFC player. Was the line checked? People are paying for the service. What has kept me subscribed up to now is the excellent job Pete F does. Maybe it is me and everybody is happy with the rest.

I think there is a measure of leeway because of the known non-payment of the people who 'run' it. Yes. i know it doesnt stop Charlton taking our money, but i certainly am not too peeved knowing that they put in a lot of hours for free 'for the love of it'
I agree with you Muttley. It is not a bad progam when it is working but how many times do you try and tune in about 6.55 and you wait 10 mins and then you wonder? Is it your PC, your connections is the problem, you log in and out 10 mins at a time and then you find it is a problem at their end. Thanks for coming on here Ollie, but a) Why wait so long to tell us (nearly an hour?), also why didn't you have the line tested before hand,surely it is not hard??
Also, no actual message on player itself. It lets you get in and gives you hope with some noises! Surely it can't be too much trouble for them to put up a message so you don't sit like a lemming for 10-20 minutes waiting for something to happen.

I'll rejoin next season, but what is going to be put on player over the next couple of months - going on last season - will not justify the fee. I can promise you that.
Judging by what I saw at the Valley when voting, it almost certainly is going to be Poyet. Hovever, I took a look at the next game where voting was still possible and Morro had a decent number!
Not a complaint as I think the Charlton Live service and commentators are good, but I was surprised to see that Fridays' was the last show. Was looking forward to a post Blackpool and end of season show.

I was not part of the show last night but was at POTY. The team were genuinely gutted that the ISDN had a fault, they called in the IT guy who was off from work to try to assist but unfortunately it was not to be.
We are always looking at improving things and trust me the issues you experience frustrate us all, I often listen to the Sunday show and commentaries myself. And we read and take on feedback, even though we are volunteers as such we take it all very seriously.
