However it would have been tough for anybody after doughnut Dowie.
Compare and contrast with the Curbishley / Powell attitude of I'm the manager if it goes wrong the buck stops here we've just got to get on with it even when they had legitimate cause for complaint.
What would Curbishley or Powell have done with the money Pardew spunked on the likes of Martin Christensen etc, etc I wonder?
