Help about a pub (or two)

No, I don't need help finding a pub or even the bar but the museum do need some more info on two items in its collection
The first is a real pub sign with the fittings for it to hang outside a building but where is/was the pub and was there a Charlton connection beyond the name? The sign looks like an early 60s logo that the club used.
The second may not be a pub sign at all as it quite small but if not where and when was it produced and why?

If no one comes up with a local pub for the first one, it may have come from Bristol.
Second one might just have been produced in the late 80's for people to put in their own bar.0 -
Agree on the 2nd one but would still like to know who produced it.
The first could be Bristol as you say but then odd that it ends up at the Valley.0 -

Or Altringham, Bideford, Bosham, Cheltenham, Hassocks, Newtown, Swindon...
