So I was gobsmacked to read the first of the new "Voice" presenting a signature interview with him, wherein he declared that the Gullivans were his 'good friends' and he had tried to persuade them to buy us. I can't imagine that the Gullivans would have tried to move us to the OS, but I can only think their only reason for considering it was the possibility of moving us to the Peninsula.

Charlton were 2nd choice, by a very long way and only if they couldn't have got WHam. There was certainly admiration for the way they ran their clubs. We may not like the Taxpayer Stadium deal, but they certainly get the best deals they can.

David Gold was at PV's 60th party, so they could be "good friends", then again so was I.
Its only the cup that no-ones interested in - least of all, Spurs.
Think it was a decent chance for a trophy for Spurs to be honest.
what with their involvement in Champions league and Premiership this season, this was a cup too far for them.
Honestly, and I don't say this lightly, I want to see Spurs win trophies. I hate what football has become. Finishing as high up the league will always take priority due to the funds generated.
I could have kicked the cat across the room when they equalised, I nearly threw my laptop through the tv when they got the third. It hurts but we do have bigger fish to fry. Utd on Saturday lunchtime and Real Madrid midweek followed by Ars*nal at the Cameldome. Fully understandable why Poch rotated the squad.
Just wish it wasnt against them. No matter who plays, that second half capitulation was an embarrassment. Goes to show what a presence Lloris, Vertonghen and Sanchez are for us at the moment.
It says a lot that a 3-2 down with 10 mins to go, I'm thinking FFS I'd take the defeat in 90 mins to avoid ET. As it is Utd have got 24hrs extra rest than us before Sat lunchtime. Football should be about winning every bloody game.
Funny Brady was on the Apprentice tonight in the Royal Box at Wembley with a trophy in front of her. That wont happen again any time soon.
Oh and West Ham were great 2nd half. Shame Spurs didnt play with the same will.
