If we score first (very unlikely unless it's an own goal), then we will lose but our goal difference will be managed a little bit, if Sheffield Wednesday score first we will lose heavily. Best chance is a team like:
Am certain we will stumble over the safety line, if only by default. Next season will bring relegation, too many things are going on it smells. Am on the drink with two of my swedish Wednesday mates so enjoying tomorrow regardless of the result/hammering. What are the odds of a draw on the 3rd and we both go down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well VFF can you see anything different....chumps on here were laughing at Millwall few weeks ago, and at Palace at the start of the season...bet they look silly now.
what have we got to lose why not throw in a youth striker in!! it may seem stupid to say that but our senior striker are not scoring and with reza(our best IMO) being played right wing and even midfield we have less than no hope!! 3-0 to wednesday
This season is like an extended trip to the dentist for root canal work.
Just dreading the inevitable moment that Ricardo Fuller returns from injury to score against us in the 97th minute at Blackpool and reminds us all why we should have signed a decent striker and not sold one.
Another 3-5 years of abject misery and torment in the cess-pit of League 1 watching a bunch of Ostende under 11's managed by another of Roland's Belgian bum chums just because of that man's inept decision making.
I reckon other results will go against us today, so we have to win. A tight defensive display and a flukey goal from "killer" sponge foot will see the job done.
Just hope Jose has read Goonerhater's sound advice on the other thread - that would help our cause no end.
After saying prior to the game that i would be ecstatic with a 0-0 draw v Bolton, I would be happy (unfortunately) with a 1-0 defeat, preserve our goal difference, hope that Blackpool and Donny get tonked 3 or 4 goals, and then have enough points lead to take to Blackpool so that they need 4 goals to leapfrog us. Its that desperate.
I havnt seen us win this season, and seen prob.. 4 goals in about 12 games watched live, so, i am thinking of giving the rest of the season a miss, or changing the stand i watch them from, or something - it has to be ME !

I am a bit superstitious about putting up predictions on this thread Chippy about Charlton on this thread. I don't want to hex the result. Only thing I will say is that Sheffied Wednesday are mathematically safe and that will affect how they turn out as the pressure is off.
I also think that Millwall can easily lose the next 3 games. Similarly to those writing Millwall off, it is too soon to say that they are anyone of the teams in the relegation dog fight are clear. Blackpool are actually in the bottom 3 and that might focus their minds a bit as well. There will be surprise results, but I am not necessarily saying that will be Charlton today as like I say don't want to tempt fate.
Well Sheffield Wednesday certainly aren't all that and if we turn up and want it today we will win. Probably only by the single goal and feel teams below will perform well too so still have it all to do.
I think we will go there aiming for a draw as every point is so precious and could mean so much. A bit of luck with a deflected goal or a penalty could help us in this cause. But when we are down they always seem to kick us more up there, 3-0 Wednesday.

Please God, let it all be over soon.
(No chance today by the way and we all know it).
