Free Ticket option in season ticket book

Sure there is a thread already but could not find it so apologies.

Does any one know if I can use my free ticket for the Blackburn game and did we get two in each season ticket book?

Thanks

  • No & Yes

Blackburn is gold I believe, so can't use the vouchers for that game
Each season ticket has 2 vouchers in
  • Oh nuts, I feared that! Shouldn't have promised it to my mate and his 6 year old! Tough conversation ahead. Why is Blackburn gold but Barnsley season decider not! Lol
  • I think Blackburn was picked as it was the last home game of the season
  • Anyone know if I can use one for the Barnsley game?

Yes you can and if you call them up they will reserve it (and a seat) for you and leave it for you to collect when you get there. They did this for me.

Worth giving them a ring and seeing if they would be flexible being how low attendances have been. The worst that can happen is they say no, if you do this ask the ticket office manager

I'm sure you can, but you would need to pay the 'upgrade' fee.
  • I don't agree with all this gold and silver carry on. A game is a game

Plenty of other teams do it, and it means we can charge away fans more.
No coincidence that for most games the 'gold' matches are the teams that fill the away end

I was told this morning that I have to turn up to present the voucher before they'd sort a ticket for me. No offer of reserving one unfortunately (although, admittedly I didn't ask!)
  • Blackburn is the only gold game left this season as it was meant to be the last game of the season which always brings in a big crowd but you can use them for Barnsley ,Bolton and Watford .
  • Can anyone confirm if I can use a voucher on the day, just presenting it to the ticket office?
  • Yes. Did it for the Yeovil game
  • Yes I just rang up take season ticket they will sort it out
  • Can't use those vouchers today folks, it's a gold game.

  • Anyone know if a free ticket voucher from a concession season ticket is good for standard adult ticket? And does it have to be a ticket in the same stand? Thanks

    Sorry folks - I could've sworn...

Don't trust anything I say (like you did anyway!). :-)
  • In now starting to doubt whether this is even your real name, Mr Lout
  • It's not Mr Bartram. ;-)
