FA cup Final

Don't know weather it's been mention on another thread, Arsenal and Hull city have only been given 25k tickets each for the final for their fans! I believe wembley hold 90k
So 44% of people going to the match might not support either team

Not only that the kick off time time will be 5pm and the last trains out of London for Hull fans are 8pm

Yet again FA cup has been tarnished

Yeah, but it's Arsenal the club that refused the allocation not Arsenal fans. Big difference.

    Wembley is a corruption

25K each, good job the spanners didn't get through.

Talking of corruption. Anyone use a good agent for corporate tickets? Ive applied directly to Club Wembley but any other avenues? Not for me obviously.

I don't know when the final is this year, but in previous years I think it has happened when the Premier League season was still going on.

It should be the Saturday after the season has finished at 3pm.

And no more semi finals at Wembley either.

Hi Curb It. Not used these myself but have been informed by others that they are very reliable. They specialise in corporate tickets, boxes, comps etc for sold out events. What they don't really do apparantly is regular tickets for sold out events.

Strange thing to say on a thread where we are talking about lack of allocation of tickets for fans?

It's the biggest football ground in the country, so the maximum number of fans get to see the game, and it's owned by the FA.

If you owned a nightclub, you wouldn't pay to hire someone else's smaller club to hold your birthday party, would you?

Except only 50000 fans of the two clubs involved will be allocated tickets at Wembley. The problem with Wembley is that it cost so much, that to pay for it the FA had sell a lot of tickets to people unconnected to the clubs playing.

Play the game at Old Trafford and the best part of 80000 could be allocated tickets.

But you were talking about the semi-final SR, where the clubs are allocated a lot more tickets than the final. And why do you think that people "unconnected with the clubs playing" pay more money than fans who are? The "missing" cup final tickets go to local FA's and other clubs supposedly as a reward to people who volunteer their time for free for the good of the game. In truth we all know that most of them end up in the hands of fans of the two clubs involved at inflated prices...

I presume that the final has been scheduled for 5pm on Saturday, rather than the proper 3pm slot, in order to suit international broadcasting requirements, maximise advertising revenues and all the other corporate rubbish that has helped to make this traditionally great day little more significant than the Johnstones Paint Trophy Final.

Must be a lot of sour faces at the FA today after the kick off the Primer Liga Title Decider between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid was confirmed yesterday as a 5pm(BST) kick off on Saturday evening. I know which one I'll be watching.

Don't forget the debenture seats, paid for by corporates and never used, but no sytem to reallocate.

I agree it's a shame the KO appears to now be a regular thing at 5PM, for all the reasons you state. That has been the case for a couple of years. Atletico v Barca has been moved to that slot THIS WEEK for exactly the same reasons.

I know which I will be watching.

Bollocks - I'm in Spain and was going to watch Real Mallorca's relegation playoff on Saturday at 5pm, but if the title decider has been moved that gives me something to think about.
