    I think 1 shilling 3 pence when my Dad first took me in 1959. Two problems - my Dad is not around to ask and I am not sure.
    Mine neither but that price rings a bell, I would have said early sixties although I think I was bunking in at juvenile price of 1/- 6d? wearing a sheepskin and monkey boots in 1969.

    Serial numbers on them @WeegieAddick enabled some form of reconciliation with the gate receipts however if the turnstile operative was partial to a bung :-0 Then again allegedly the true attendance levels under the stewardship of the Gliksteins were never what they seemed!
