  • That young chap in the dressing room didn't look happy not sure whether or not it was a player.

    Paul came across well though.

Anyway Steve Sutherland said this Sadie.

@suthersuk: Great to see the @CAFCofficial legend that is Paul Ellis getting deserved recognition on tonight's 'Late Kick Off'. Well done Paul
  • Great little Cameo about a true CAFC legend and gentleman.
  • All i keep thinking is bonkers! Poor bloke must have seen some really dross over the years. I take my hat off to him though. I try to make every home game, but every away game too....sod that.
  • Charlton legend , used to live down the road from where I grew up, prolly still does , part of the Mottingham Massives on Sidcup Road

The way I initially read your post indicated to me that you were about to be sarcastic towards Sadiejane - when she said she knew Paul, it was an answer you weren't expecting... Hence my reaction. Sincere apologies if I misinterpreted your post...it was late!
  • Paul said it was a much longer interview cut out quite a lot but still a good little piece. He was part of the valley party too.
  • Great stuff - Paul is so laid back, I wish I could be like him...

Paul's a good man. A few seasons ago, I hadn't seen him to chat to for 20+ years and then bumped into him at an away game and he chatted away as if we were still back at Blundell Park in 1983. He even remembered my name. I'm glad to hear he's recovering well.
