Did anyone else notice that there seemed to be a few dozen germans in the west stand today, is this a part of RDs conquest of european football??

  • Don't tell them your name Halix!
  • they dont like it up them!
  • We had swedes and Iranians in front of us in the west stand.
  • I was in a group of 10 English lads watching 1860 Munich v Cologne last weekend, so I wouldn't read to much into it.
  • Group of 20 Dutch in front of me.
    Very tall.
  • Dutch in the queue for tickets and more at the bar.
  • I suppose they may have been dutch, I didn't realise we attracted such a cosmopolitan crowd to South London.
  • Love to see fellow Europeans at The Valley . Germans , Dutch who cares . More the merrier .

Just wondered why there seemed so many today, it was the most european bog that I think Ive ever queued for. Mind you if you were visiting UK and fancied taking in a game you wouldn't choose going to the Den would you?.
  • Dutch and Scandinavian holiday/tour companies arrange weekends away in London with a football match thrown in ... the cheapo version get you a game at the Valley, the ultra cheapo you get the Den or Brisbane Road .. the most expensive package of course gets you seats at Chelsea/Arsenal ..

  • I guess they could've come to the valley yesterday then to the Boleyn today.
  • Saw 30-40 European kids in the east stand. Quite noisy at the beginning but they had thermos flasks and blankets by half time and were clapping everything Jordan cousins and Diego Poyet did by the 60th minute and by full time they were drawing straws to determine which of them would start ahead of simon church on Tuesday
