  • nothing on cafc player?
  • The Reza selection is very strange to me. Either we have players carrying knocks that can't start or JR wasn't watching on Saturday. Reza was non-existant and more dangerously, allowed the opposition left back to run past him to overload our right back throughout the first half. At one point he was asking Wilson where he should stand! I hope he's not playing wide right again, because that would indicate to me that JR didn't learn anything from Saturday.

But don't take my word for it, Kevin Nolan in this mornings SLP commented on "the hopelessly out-of-his-depth Reza".

The "anti-Pigott" comments on here are clearly made by supporters who didn't see his cameo role against Derby. Pigott was clearly much stronger physically than he was before he left us and he was good at holding up the ball, when played to his body or feet and thus brought other players into the play. Time will tell, but it is wrong to put him down on his history during his football development rather than the "now". let's give him the benefit of the doubt.

This, you only had to watch the highlights to see that Pigott was one of our best players out of an admittedly bad bunch on Saturday, he earned his place in tonight's team.
  • Reza surely will play off Piggott, as an attacking pair - rather than as a wide player, where he has rarely proved effective.
  • As Swiss suggests, expect a physical approach from Leeds tonight. Hope we stand up to it, but I'm going into this fearful rather than confident.
  • Good team that. Would like to have seen Obika / Petrucci / Harriott / Anyone start instead of Reza. Wish he'd refused to travel too.

Also Butland - great keeper. Our forwards will have to be special tonight. Worried as hell about theirs - McCormack and Smith.
  • If you live up north you can get it on BBC Leeds but their coverage is not online.

BBC Leicester working but Finchy a disparu, must be catching!
  • No CAFC player commentary for me so far. Can only presume we've scored in the opening minute

    .

Looks like the pacy players are scheduled for the 2nd half, when Leeds defenders would be expected to tire.

    nope, nothing at all
  • Absolutely disgraceful that player isn't working at a time like this given how much it costs. I want my free trial back.
  • This is a complete drag, no coverage so far.

  • All I know is the game has started.
  • 50%-50% possession so far on BBC
  • 2' Early chance for Matt Smith as a cross comes in from the left. The striker doesn't make contact and the ball flashes wide #CAFCLive
  • not just me then.....

this is why we are known as the clowns
  • I'm following the action from here: http://wall.cafc.co.uk/Event/CAFC_Wall
  • Is this is on the radio anywhere (not player)? Or is there actually a stream?

Apparently not. Radio London are doing Brentford v Sheff Utd. WTF?

  • Not a patch on the usual Seth and RM combo though.
  • When the red red robin
    Goes bob bob bobbin’
    Along, along,
    There’ll be no more sobbin’
    As he keeps throbbin’
    His old, sweet song,
Wake up, wake up, you sleepy head,
Get up, get up get out of bed,
Cheer up, cheer up, the sun is red,
Live, Love, laugh and be happy!

    What if I feel blue,
    I’ll go walking through
    Fields of flowers,
Rain may glisten but still I listen
    For hours, and hours.
    I’m like a kid again,
    Doing what I did again,
    Singing this song,
    When the Red Red Robin
    Goes Bob Bob Bobbin’ along!

Aren't BBC London covering the match?
  • i've said it before, i'll say it again, if you're writing off a 20 year old then you're an idiot with extremely limited knowledge of football. We all knew Millwall was wayyyy too early for him. Remember Waggy, was terrible when pardew threw him in and after a couple of average loan spells, parky put him in the side and ended up getting over 10 goals from right midfield. I would also still prefer to have waggy right now.
