Team changes ?

Com on, lets hear your 50-odd changes you would implement !!!

Comments

  • Thatcher for HH
    Bougey for Elk

I know the arguement about not changing a winning team, but I tend to think you should pick your best available team.
  • I prefer the argument that there's always room for improvement and would do same as Rothko.
  • I tend to abide normally by don't change a winning team but in this instance I would get Thatcher back in for Hermann and Ambrose for an insipid Rommedahl.

    Carson

    Young
    Elk
    Diawara
    Thatcher

    Ambrose
    Song
    ZZ
    Holland
    Thomas

    Bent D

    Subs:

    Randolph
    HH
    Bougy
    Romm
Bent M /Lisbie (nothing between them imho)
  • Oh yeah forgot about Dennis Shitmypants, he can go providing Ambrose is fit.
  • I agree about Dennis Poopypants
  • people are so obesessed with the defence, which with the exception of an appearance by Mr Fortune, has been excellent for some weeks
  • i think the back four has to change , they've been riding their luck so the 2 changes to the back four mentioned above are good for me ... a point tomorrow will be a bonus but we need 3 points from these next 2 games...minimum!!
if we get 6 from next 2 games even i might think we'll stay up!! ;-)
  • everyone slagging rommers off but ffs how out of sorts was ambrose when he came on
  • We looked better with Thatcher in at left back, give the team a better balance, and Elk is an accident waiting to happen

Ambrose is scoring goals, and for me is a better player in a midfield 5, as he's prepared to tuck in and support ZZ and Bent

agreed dude, both points i agree
  • I think Rommedahl is far more dangerous away from Home, plus Ambrose is carrying a knock so Rommers has to start IMHO.
  • At least Dennis doesn't fall asleep on the edge of the oppo penalty area like Ambrose did on Sat. I know Dennis was off form (he's been far more impressive as an impact player recently) but Ambrose was dire - hence why he got subbed off again. Surely Pards would have preferred to take Thomas or even Song off for a fresh pair of defensive legs late on, rather than someone who'd only been on the pitch for 40 mins? Doubt Ambrose will start...
  • Romm is better starting on the bench and coming on for the last 20-30.

I'd play Ambrose on the right and start with Thatcher at LB.

Ambrose wasn't fit, was stuck on to try and get us a goal. Once we got it, he was off again.
  • What's up with him? Sleeping sickness?? He looked completely dozy...and could have cost us a goal.
  • away from home
very big pitch - think this one is set up for Dennis
would give him one last chance...
  • Carson
    Young Diawara Bougherra Thatcher
    Ambrose Holland Song ZZ Thomas
    D. Bent

Subs: Randolph, HH, Elk, Romm, M.Bent

I hope so. Dennis is never going to score at the Valley, so let's hope he gets another crucial away goal - he averages 1 per season...

ditto.....Thatcher far more solid and get rid of that clown El Kak before he does cost us more points..
