As quite a few on hear are now saying, agreeing let's give the new owner (yes that's what RD is) a chance. 3,6,12, months and probably more everyone has been banging on about 'a takeover' well now it's bloody well happened a lot of people are moaning!!
I really can't work it out. We are where we are in this division because we haven't been good enough, I still believe we have a good enough bunch to escape and yes I know we sold good old Y ann and Dale but YAnn had an offer but turned it down, if he loved our club that much I'm sure he would have stayed and try to 'win' an extension to his new deal. I think Dale just wanted to move on, I really liked DS and think he could be a top player, but if he don't want to be here...fine!
We have our new owner, manager/coach whatever you want to call him and now we don't even know how long he wI'll be with us!
But it's still CAFC nothing or nobody can change that. Let's just support our club as always through thick & thin (as I always tell people who ask me who I support) and see where it takes us, IF we go down it will be that we haven't been good enough, I for one won't blame this season's outcome on Roland D.

The feeder issue has yet to be proven. RD hsd said we may sell players to SL it would have been good if the interviewer had pursued all sides of this issue. The SL coach talked about getting our players but he was never going to say he would send his team to us.
With any owner we should be watching what they are doing and challenging them but so far for me RD us more in credit thsn debit . Evrn with the chsnge of management.
maybe RD thought a loan striker would be sufficient to plug the gap until the summer, before going out and bringing in a permenant replacement at the end of the season? To buy someone in the last knockings of the transfer window, the price is normally inflated, so allow powell to pick up a loan to see us through (Tudgay) and hope it's enough to see us across the line. There is also the issue of finding a goal scorer that's willing to join a club that's been in or around the drop zone all season. If they are a good championship quality, why would they want to join a team that's looking likely of dropping into L1? and of course there's the wage factor. If relegation beckons, the last thing the club needs is another high earner (in comparison) taking up the wage of 2 players.
So maybe it's a gamble, and maybe RD will have shot himself in the foot? or just maybe things will work out okay and the squad re-built in the summer to (nearly) everyones satisfaction?
Suppose we'll find out soon enough.....................

There's nothing like a good takeover thread !
