Booing Pritchard

  • I heard booing.

Never understand booing our own players. Not going to help anyone.
  • those around me was having a moan about him saying he offers nothing. I informed them he was the player with most assist last year so must offer something.

I'm sorry but his performances have been utter dog s**t all season and offered very little indeed. He can't keep dining out on what he achieved in another season. This season he had been Slow, weak, can't pass, can't shoot and seemed to have lost his positional sense sometime in the summer.
agree he has been poor this season and a shadow of the Pritchard last season but he does offer something quite clearly the stats prove that's the point I was making.

I think it is just the general mentality of some around me now that they just love to moan and slag of any Charlton player, Manager and even other fans around them if they dont agree with them. Got to the stage now where I am seriously thinking off moving seats.

The same could be said about the majotrity of the "team" this season.

I know the type you are talking about. I agree with with what they said about Pritchard but they probably say that about everyone and every thing.

Agreed but his shitness stood out amongst a lot of shitness.
  • Pathetic to boo our own especially when the players clearly need the fans backing to help get us out of this mess. Better off without supporters like that even turning up. Cocks
  • I've never understood booing, maybe at the end of a match at a particularly shit performance, but booing during the game, how the hell is anything positive going to come from it??? People who live sad and lonely lives who have some kind of ego complex, thinking their opinion and their sad little lives are the only thing that's important.

Pritchard will be gone in the summer regardless.
  • I sit in the North Stand and didn't hear any booing!
  • Regardless of why you're booing (e.g. you're not booing the player, you're booing the manager who is subbing the player off), 90% of the time it will be interpreted that you are booing the player or the team, which is why I avoid doing it. Booing the ref is fine though if it is clear that it is his decision that is being booed.
  • In front of upper north n didn't hear any booooooing?
    Not right though
Certainly not going to spur player on?

  • Absolute p*sstake. Pritchard has done nothing wrong whatsoever. Always given 100% and was at times last season our best player. Hit a very bad run of form earlier this year fair enough but done absolutely nothing to even remotely warrant booing, especially when on the same pitch as Sordell.

Thought sordell put some effort in
Best I've seen him play for us so far?

  • Something very wrong with booing Pritchard. Every time he touched the ball there was booing and chants of sh*t. North Upper, J Block

Agreed, but the point is based on the entire season Sordell is far, far worthier of booing than poor old Brad.
  • None of our players should be boo-ed.
Last season Pritch had some great games, although he missed a few chances.
Anyone putting that red shirt on deserves our full support.
I don't rate Church or Reza, but hope one game they will change my opinion.
    Always 100% for our players!
  • As stated by others, fans who boo at not Charlton fans. We are not Millwall, Spurs or Chelsea who boo anyone they don't like. We are better than that. Not even worth discussing as most Charlton fans wouldn't do it...we are better than that. Just a few plonkers who had too much flat beer.....

North Upper Crossbars section. I heard nowt. Non issue.

In any case. It was probably a few, booing that we took a striker off for a midfielder.

However, it was the right decision, at the right time. We were getting the runaround for about 15 mins after the break & Pritchard coming on, meant we just about regained the advantage.

    Excellent & timely substitution.

    Pritchard did ok.
