Booing your own players

I am disgusted to have witnessed the boos that Pritchard received when he came on the pitch. Yes, technically he's not the best player we've ever had but he certainly isn't the worst. To boo a player who has done nothing but given 100% every time he's played for us is wrong IMO.

I also heard boos when Sordell came off the pitch. Again, I was shocked! Even when he didn't actually have a good game (if anything he put more effort in today than all the other times he's played put together).

I know I wasn't the only one to hear them too. My mate heard it and so did the blokes in front of me.

I thought that you get behind the players... Maybe I was wrong.

Sometimes you aren't booing the player, more so the decision/change in formation/intent. Sordell was good so maybe the boo's were towards him going off, not his performance? Although you never know. Footballs a funny game

Thought the booing at the managers introduction was more shocking! Even Dave on the mike seemed disinterested.

A debatable one, would understand if people booed that (can never tell if they are booing the player or the sub itself).. 3 points is what we all want and when you are at the match you want to see risks took to try achieve this

I always see it as rather than booing the player you are booing the manager for deciding to pick the player. After all, the player doesn't pick himself. Although that might not be far off under our new owners!

I bet Pritchard thought the boos were aimed at him.
