Any Huddersfield Town coming on this site over the last 24 hours must be laughing their socks off. Powell has gone, end of, the teams performances and results this year have been poor, and make no bones about it if it was anyone else the high majority of people on here would have been calling for the managers head, as they did for Dowie, Pardew, and Parkinson.
On Sunday the whole performance summed up our season in 90 minutes, lacking ideas, passion and no end product. RD is the chairman and it is his club and he has a decision to make like any other person that owns a business in this world. He felt that it was working, and given the fact that Powell put two fingers up to him on Sunday by playing his selected 11, and even the subs, proves that it was a case of two egos clashing when there was only going to be one winner.
Hopefully for the first time this year we will see a team that has players playing in their right positions, and not midfielders at full back, central midfielders playing wide, and a forward with some pace up front to stretch the play rather than having to similar players as the front two pairing as we did on Sunday.
If people love Powell more than the club then that is your choice, therefore when Powell receives another job offer and takes it i would expect each and every single one of you to go and support that team.
Charlton have always had hard times. Gliksten, Fryer, Hulyer, Jimenez, the list goes on but this has always remained and that is Charlton.
So do one of two things tonight either go and support the team and new manager whilst we can still get out of this mess with the games in hand, or sit at home and reach for the prozac and continue to cry over spilt milk.
Personally i was really cheesed off with this mob on Sunday, and even more so when they broke my boys heart, and if i had the chance i would have loved to have gone in that dressing room after and told each and every single one of them how they had let them fans down today as well as themselves and club.
I am going their tonight to support a team that has been there since 1905, my team i have supported for 36 years, and will continue to do so till the day i die, as well as give Jose my support, as this man deserves his chance as manager.

Nothing less.
I am still raw and gutted and a win will be the first tiny part of the healing process, but much better if it is a birthday present to you.
Just hope he picks a team on merit and advice
Come on Jose we needed a change
