roll call for putting season tickets on hold.

now i will not stop supporting charlton however i believe that the new ownership has tried to change too much without realising he is trampling all over the club.
this must not be a debating thread, people will have only one post to make and that is to say that they will put their season ticket on hold. i believe this ownership could become great for the club and so i do not hate the ownership. But the selling of players was one thing, sacking Chris Powell was another thing. only one player has signed a new contract and he wants to control recruitment. we could potentially just be a feeder club. i hope i am wrong but we do not have much leverage as fans so this is our only way really to protest.
so say on here if you are to hold your season ticket for a while.

    I think you mean "without CARING that he's trampling all over the club".

    Regardless of any organised action, I won't be renewing until I am confident that doing so would be an act of support for the club rather than an act of support for a regime that does not have the long term welfare of the club amongst its priorities.

    Everyone keeps on about players being sold, Stephens wanted to go months ago and Yann wanted a better longer contract, they were going anyway ?
    The new owner has already earmarked one million pound for the new pitch and drainage.

    As nice a man Chris Powell was, His win rate was only 40%, Phil Parkinson's win rate was 39% with a lower quality squad, and look at the stick Parkinson took ?
    My dad and I will definitely buying our season tickets for the 28 consecutive year.

    Why hold a renewal - prices are keen and we have a new manager who can't finish lower than we are - if he can change our season he will be fine. If he can't, we move on again. I will renew definitely.

    Add me (3 tickets) I will of course buy at some point - I think. The paper they use for the applications doesn't flush very well btw!

    got the forms through yesterday of all days, i mean i could be wrong but is there one photo of chris powell on there at all, seems strange if there isnt??, in which case they would of been printed a while back??

    Two on hold from me. Much as I disagree with Powell's sacking, what I'm waiting for is evidence that the new manager will be in charge of team matters. Keeping Hamer in goal would go a long way towards that.

    Mine is on hold. It's not dependent on which division we're in, more the prospect of watching foreign mercenaries I've never heard of running around, their main aim to get a move to Standard.

    I wasnt planning on getting my 3 yet, but the events of the last 24 hours has made me even more cautious. So most likely wont renew until the 6th or 7th April unless things get worse, then who knows.

    I am split but know I will end up renewing deep down.

    Part of me at the moment just has no real motivation or want to go tonight and Saturday ( I will go) and am finding it a bit of a struggle to look at Charlton in positive way at the moment but I know more than likely this short term and a couple of wins I will be up for it again.

    I am worried for us at the moment and the direction we are going in but ultimately i know I was here long before Roland and will be long before he goes unless i pull the lions tail on Saturday.

    Sorry but what the hell does this achieve ?
    Because if I was rd and people was holding off because I sacked a manager who put the team bottom of the league I wouldn't know what to think . What if he was putting the early renewals to one side for the pitch or the upgrading of the training ground or a player in the summer . He might now think sod them . I'm really baffled how people think this is gonna help , this is our club support it through thick and thin with a new manager who knows we might not get relegated now!
