A thought experiment.

Firstly, let me state that I am a strong Powell supporter. I have been moping around all day, feeling completely let down by his sacking.
However, a friend (who feels equally aggrieved) just messaged me this:
'Thought experiment... All the new players play tomorrow and we win 3-0. How do we feel then?'
I suppose my answer would be 'conflicted and a little worn out'.
Anyone care to contribute?

Depends who plays. If certain players get dropped unjustly for some loanees then I don't really care if we win if its not really Charlton and its only benefitting another club.0

ask me at 10pm tomorrow night.0

delighted as I always am when my team wins.1

We'll cross that particular bridge when we get to it I think !0

As I said on another thread, bloody amazed to be honest.0

Who will/would do the tunnel jump.Or does that "tradition" die too0

Depends how they perform. If they're clearly a level above our own players i'd wonder why Powell didn't select them.
Giving a 99% probability of this not happening though.0 -
I think the tunnel jump should be retired. When Rob Elliot did for a while, it didn't seem right then even though Rob is a genuine Charlton fan.0
