What are the Trust going to do now

This is a defining moment for you.

All of your surveys have repeatedly shown the majority of fans wanted Powell as our manager.

The majority of our fans didn't want Yann to go.

Most are unhappy with being a network feeder club.

What are you going to do to mobilise support? We know that direct action worked for Standard Liege in getting Roland to sit up and pay attention.

Now is your time to prove you are a truly independent voice that will stand up to the owners and demand clarity, answers and a plan for the future.

You're our best hope of organising any kind of co-ordinated action in my opinion. Whether that's Airman's season ticket strike or something else - I hope right now you are having an emergency meeting to discuss how you can help us all stand up and be counted.

  • I will be joining the Trust tomorrow. Make sure you have got your stand out.

Not going to repeat all the arguments that have been made endlessly about RD's new regime but I for one don't want to watch a Charlton team that is just a feeder club for Standard Liege and consists mostly of loanees from RD's other sides.

Agree with L4E. Time to show your bottle before RD leads this club into the wilderness for good.
  • The trust are meaningless, like Duchatelet will listen to them anyway, save your £5
  • Time for the trust to do more than collect signatures
  • Not sure what the trust can do but they cannot sit on their hands and hope it goes away, sometime today, if they wish to be seen as fans representatives then, they need make a statement today.
  • I think it's a bit irrational to put this all on the Trust. As much as survey's say people want Powell as manager they also say they want the Trust to have a say at the higher levels within the club. They wont get this if they lead a revolt against the board, and it is unlikely to achieve anything anyway.

Any protest has to be away from the Trust in my opinion. They don't need to be negative but they need to show professionalism.
  • I understand that in this day and age people want instant responses but it's pretty hard to release a statement regarding a completely unconfirmed event.
  • Perhaps a few more should join then?

No, not all on the trust,,, but what is the point of one if they are not of use at times like this ?

I assumed the point of them was to give fans a voice at as high a level as possible at the club. And a protest against the board wont achieve this.
  • The Trust probably knew about this last week but were "embargoed"

    Good luck with that one.
  • The Trust are representative of fans of a club that no longer exists.
This isn't Charlton of South East London this is Charlton of the RD network.

    Time for a Phoenix club.
