Blade here. Not to gloat. Just want to comment on your fans.

All 5400 were a class act, especially considering the KO time. Great numbers and great noise.

After the game we bumped into a fair few on Bramall Lane (once we'd got around the SYP wall of steel) and to a man they were wishing us well.

I really hope you stay up this season. You're a proper football club with a quality fan base. You did CAFC proud.

Liked the ground, brilliant atmosphere SU fans I met and spoke with all decent, great organisation outside ground, hugely disappointed with our game today, Sheffield were far hungrier and sharper than our lads and thoroughly deserved the win, good luck at Wembley

I don't have any mates who are Blades, I have a couple who are Owls, not including OP, who I think is an okay guy. I know it is easier to be magnanimous in victory than in defeat, but Utd seem to show a lot more class than Wednesday this season. Good luck.

Proper ground, genuine home fans, great atmosphere, met old acquaintances on the coach, spoke to the splendid KM at the services, a nice day out with my son, right result to a real cup tie, due reward for a respected opponent manager, great weather and - absolutely gutted !!

Can't remember better home support than that. We sang but were up against three times as many singers! Fact is if we had been at home I dont think we would ever have got behind our team like that.

As others say, hope you make it to the final and into Europe.

Blades and everything about them was great today. I hope they win the cup, and go up too.
I am feeling miserable, but a tiny part knows well how happy and chipper Blades fans feel, and I hope I can feel that too one day.
Judging by my experience today Sheffield United are class, thanks Hallamshire for sparing us a thought, but you should forget about us now and enjoy these times, you deserve it.

Good stuff. You lot might sneak a playoff place. Some good players in your team. Maguire looks a real good player. We just didn't show up today. But I would rather lose to the best team in Sheffield. Losing to the Wendy's would be hard to take.

Sheffield United have been through as much crap as us, relegated together out of the Premier League & pretty much all downhill from there in both camps. Good luck to them - I really hope they win it. Arsenal - Sheffield United would be a good game - wasn't there some controversy in that fixture a few years ago.
