Whatever happens tomorrow.....

...I hope people enjoy the day out, the company of 5,500 other Addicks and hopefully the score.

These occasions as a Charlton supporter don't come around too often, so there will be 90 minutes of noise and fingers crossed we get rewarded with a wembley appearance.

A monumental effort to shift the tickets that quickly after being shafted with the kick off time.

Let's make it a day to remember as a Charlton fan.

C'mon on CP and the boys, lets do this.

Safe journey to all.

COYR.

Id love to be able to enjoy things like this. Surely these sort of games are exactly why we go ?

I'm sure I'll feel different when there, but right now I am dreading it and don't expect to sleep at all tonight.

Partly why I thought Id post this mate (as well as fishing for likes)

I don't enjoy the 'bigger' games with Charlton cos I'm usually bricking it, but I'm trying my best to convince myself that tomorrow is a no lose/not the end of the world game.
  • I'm calm. What will be will be. It's a funny feeling being in the quarters and having a game that we can reasonably expect to win. Going with expectation rather than simply for a day out against a big team. Hope we do ourselves justice.
  • Yep. The optimist in me was ground out by CAFC years ago. Determined to give it a go tomorrow though.
  • Wherever we all are I hope it goes as we all want it to. It would not surprise me to see us to go a goal down early on, maybe even two but I'm going to hang my colours to the mast and say however it happens tomorrow will be our day. Sometimes despite it being Charlton, you just have to believe :-)
Have a good one everyone :-)

Always worth remembering, even if that does happen, that we're Charlton, and we never do things the easy way.
  • 13 hours to go, it's going to be a very long day here.....11pm kick off, and just off out to get the beers in.
  • Win or lose, on the booze.
