  • Jocks lost at the Rugby?

    Best I can do today...

    The Stripey Nigels lost.

  • I'll be at the Udders game. I haven't given up yet. In SCP I trust.

    COYR
  • Completely out of our hands. Looks bad and feels bad. Tomorrow is critical - not just for Wembley though. Strongly feel that a win tomorrow will massively boost confidence and set us on a potential winning streak. Lose and I feel it will all be too much psychologically.
  • FFs. Cannot believe those results. Let us hope that the other bottom clubs don't go on some kind of run off the back of these results.
  • You lot are a right bunch of gloomsters!

We have enjoyed some real favourable weekends on the results front of late so now we have to man up and accept that we have to win some games in hand inc Yeovil Dingles Seasiders and Scum over the run in.

If we don't we don't deserve to stay up and RD will be right to offer a coaching position under a FD to CP!
  • Before people get carried away after today they should realised that over the past three weeks we have 'got away' with things.
By the way, I am of the opinion we are totally shafted and will be relegated, anybody else who thinks otherwise, you are on another planet

Not sure what you mean by that. If we get decent results from our games in hand our fate remains firmly in our own hands.

Out of our hands? We've got 3 games in hand. Win all those and we're miles clear.

    You're a happy camper aren't you m8!

Looks like a really exciting run in to me whether we stay up or drop down!
  • Other results really aren't worth caring about. If you get 50 points then it's almost certain you'll stay up. Worry about how many points we get and forget everyone else.

We need to beat Huddersfield on Weds and get to 30 points. Then you're looking at 6 more wins and a couple of draws from 15 games to stay up. Tough but not impossible.

FFS... Charlton just didnt turn up today... No sort of performance or effort from the lads at all ;-)
  • if we can get 4 points out of hudders and millwall then we will be close in points and still 4 games in hand.
  • we got so many lucky results from other teams recently so one bad weekend was due. if we win 2 out of 3 thsi week then i expect we will be fine. this week needs atleast one win.
  • Results worse for blackpool than us as really brings them into it. When we play watford they will have nothing to play for, i reckon we can beat them.
  • OK so we're at the foot of the table - but the other teams above us have 3 or 4 games advantage over us.
Lets deal with the FA cup tomorrow and then stand by to spank Huddersfield's arse on Wednesday night and Millwall's on Saturday.

We have to be positive, even though it's a tough old time at the moment.

This is our opportunity to shine, so lets grab it and go for it.

    COYA!!!

I am not your mate. However, where do you think we are okay? Who have the lowest goals for in the entire league(outside the premier)

Trouble is you look at performances and we have improved...

Birmingham City we had 8 shots on target but just couldnt score
Wigan Athletic we led for 89minutes
    Queens Park Rangers we won
    Sheffield wddnesday we won
Leicester City we were beaten by a side walking the Division

Football is a simple game but its not so simple that you solely look at the result, you've gotta look at how the side performed as well and from those matches I say were staying up

what on earth makes you think we need to get to 50 point. Our rivals would almost have to hit top 6 form to get to that. Millwall would have to get 19 points from 12 games to get there

  • It might not be 50, but it's a safe target to hit
  • On the one hand we've got games in hand, on the other we've got a game every 3/4 days in April. Will the pitch cope? have we a big enough squad to cope with the games/injuries etc, and will success in the cup make this worse and also distract us from the league. Gawd knows I just hope we beat the blades tomorrow and worry about the rest when it happens!.

I look at them results and see 3 points from 4 league games
    Wigan and Leicester battered us
Birm and QPR we deserved draws so we came out better than our performances deserved imo and the points per game return is still not enough to stay up
  • To be honest I'd be much less worried if our fixtures were not something like two games a week for TWO months. How will our squad cope with that? Will the three or four games in hand ultimately end up as nothing more than just a number on paper?..........

Sportsclubstats.com and fink tank both have us finishing 5th from bottom and they are independent. I expect both give us credit for the games in hand. We will have a better idea by 5pm next Saturday.
  • It was only a matter of time before the results went against us. We have been lucky over the last few weeks with results going our way.
  • We win today and people will be reckoning this is a platform for staying up.
We lose and we are going down as we have lost to a league one team, that is how it works methinks
