Telegraph piece on Cousins

In today's Telegraph...

...I know it was the angle of the piece but I'm not sure it was entirely necessary to bring up the business back in 2012 myself. He's a young man starting out in his career and doesn't need that following him around every time he gets his name in the papers.

Sadly from the medias perspective its part of the "interest story".
  • This FA Cup run has reminded me how much I love seeing Charlton in the papers. Made me a bit nostalgic
  • What does Betwixt mean ? I've never seen the word before.
  • Between Twixes.

Nice piece on a fine young man, I thought.
  • I get what you're saying, but I don't think it was trying to drag his name through the mud, rather highlight the trials and tribulations he's had to go through (it makes clear that the charges were immediately dropped), and using those to show the mental strength he's got.

    Nice piece.

Jonathan Liew is a turnip, only the other week he was saying Adrian Chiles is the best football presenter. Well researched piece but I was waiting for the twat in Liew to come through and it did about his arrest. Great to see it though :)
  • Shows him in a good light.
  • Another player that wants to play for Arsenal

I don't think it was trying in any way to besmirch him, and as I said it was put in to was flesh out the overall tone. Just think it wasn't really necessary although it is a predominantly positive piece.
  • What a very decent young man. A credit to his club and his family.
  • Someone bright has got to start a song going tomorrow for young Jordan, show him we love him.

    Oh, alright, MIA

You hum it & I'll sing it....

" One Jordan Cousins , there's only one Jordan Cousins...."

  • What a lovely young man.....I bet his parents are very proud of him and rightly so.
