Streaming the QF

Any tech savvy people know how much data it would take to stream the QF? (I am sure this depends on quality of stream - but a rough idea would be great) I'm in Australia and i'll have to buy some data to watch the match as I am in the middle of nowhere and will have to be up for work a few hours after the match finishes - No pub for me :(

Thanks

  • is there a stream for this game?
  • If it is on TV there will be a stream. Firstrowsports or rojadirecta will show it.
  • Cheers. Would be there but for poor health
  • I am no computer geek but I do know that streamin 1 hour of catch up Tv takes about 1Gigabite so you will need a least 2 Gig to watch the game hope this helps.
  • I downloaded First Row before and got a horrible Iminent malware on my computer that was difficult to remove. I got rid of it via Unhackme and http://malwaretips.com/blogs/umbrella-exe-virus-removal/ was helpful as well. CC cleaner is helpful as well and free.
  • Try wiziwig, BT runs good on there or Filmon. Wiziwig normally runs just seconds behind realtime

You have no need to download anything I watch them
  • OK. I downloaded a player for the streaming, which I vaguely remember as a prompt, I am not an IT expert or anything but after noticed the Iminent toolbar which was difficult to get rid of. If you can play it direct then I guess that's better, maybe I went in on a different unnecessary link ? I guess a system restore point would be helpful, just in case of problems.
  • Do not download ANYTHING to watch the match. Watch it in your browser as you'd normally view any webpage. You just have to be patient for ads to clear or close the ads but without downloading or installing anything.
  • try installing "Addblock"

  • Thanks for the streaming advice, Shine, Mrs Brightside, and Swords. I installed Adblock and the whole thing worked much better.
  • Adblock installed, 3gb purchased - thanks for the advice :)

If you're on ipad, download the Livemedia app and search for the most obvious mainstream channel that's showing the match (don't want to say it). Avoid HD, for better streaming.
  • Got it on www.footstream.tv channel 15. no download required
