This, plus I do not think we will need to "silence" their crowd because I think our fans will be louder.ShootersHillGuru said:They will be very confident and come out all guns blazing. Subdue them for 20 mins, slowly get a foothold and beat them one nil. Job done.

Definitely need to subdue them if they've 30,000 fans goingShootersHillGuru said:Subdue them for 20 mins, slowly get a foothold and beat them one nil. Job done.

They won't have, Bramall Lane only holds 32k and we are taking 5k = only 27k Blades :0)ForeverAddickted said:

Ah cool... Cheers did wonder0

They're an outside bet for a play off place .. it's not their form that is important, it's our form that is important .. play as we did as Wednesday and Huddersfield and we will win this one, but it will not be easy0

we'll come good0

They are big favourites with the bookies
Sheff Utd were underdogs in every game of their cup run so far and look at them0 -
I don't recall that at all and I'm sure no one else on CL does either.eaststandmike said:I have been telling you all they will come good!

They think, they're great, they won eight.
They'll never get nine in a row.
Oh, oh, oh it's magic, you know

As long as our key palyers are fit - I would say that they don't face our calibre of defence too often. The big question for me is us scoring goals - we need to play it similar to how we did against Sheff Wednesday I think - and see where that gets us!1

This. Utd were being kicked up in the air for most of the season and still got past all the Prem teams.Yann897 said:Form goes out the window with big games like this , what will be will be.
Our cup form is known to be the worst in the Western hemisphere, yet were into the Quarters. Our league form is truely aweful and we won two away ties against teams in better form. On our day we canbeat anyonebeat an average team!
I recall us playing Swindon in a promotion season. 12 wins in a row. They'd not won for months losing about 10 in a row and were rock bottom. We play them at home and at half-time, i believe we donated our raffle money to the Swindon youth team, they were that skint. What happens? We lost 0-1.

Willie Carson came on at half-time and said something like, 'Thanks for the donation. And thanks for the three points!'

They have pace in their team, and at the moment a lot of confidence and momentum. We are fits and starts at best, and if I were an outsider I would definitely fancy Sheffield United to win despite the different divisions.
I would say Blackburn would have a good chance at home to Sunderland at the moment. We are clearly the underdogs in this fixture.
