Coaches on Sunday

Do we know how many we are taking?

If there are for example 20 coaches going from Charlton it's going to take an age finding the one you are on? How long is it going to take to leave? Will it make us late?

If everyone gets there 15-20 minutes before the coach is due to leave you'll have plenty of time to find your coach and not get delayed.

Hope all is well with you, and Alfie is still banging the goals in.
  • Would it not be like what it is like to home games where they have pick up points stuck to the windows, I always made sure I remembered what the driver/s looked like as I was getting of the coach sounds stupid I no lol
  • When ever you turn up for a coach it's hectic!

When I went up by coach from Bexleyheath to the the postponed game with Wed it took nearly half hour to sort out and there were only 2 coaches!!!!! Can you imagine what it will be like if it's 10+?
  • It will be chaos from Charlton. 7am is also cutting it extremely fine.
  • Why ain't the coaches leaving earlier
  • 7am should be okay. The coaches for Doncaster left about 30 mins late and even with a stop we got there with about an hour to spare.

Traffic should be light and we should be able to afford a stop at the services on the way up.

  • Even allowing for a 1/2 hour stop, coaches should reach Sheffield at 11am.
  • If Anything the traffic on the way back could be a problem.
  • Remember going to Sheffield Utd in the 90's for the cup replay and just remember seeing a string of lights coming out of Sheffield from about 20 plus coaches! Could be a few on Sunday Terry!
  • Hope our drivers know the way?!
Unlike the ones that took us to Tranmere a few seasons back!
On par with the rides at Alton towers!

  • 27 coaches going I am hearing
  • 27 coaches going I am hearing

that means an awful lot of cars !!!
  • 27 coaches is less then 1500!?!? There has to be more then that going?
  • If most of us are going by car then it could be like the days we were playing at upton park in front of 4-5k and the police were asking us at half time to vary our journey home because we were causing traffic jsms in east london
  • 27 coaches going I am hearing

That would be from Bexleyheath or Charlton alone.

  • That's my thinking?
  • I get the fact that you are risking getting turned back drinking on the way up,but, getting out the champers etc to celebrate on way home fill yer boots ?
  • You are not allowed to drink on a minibus/bus/coach going to or leaving a sporting event
  • Will they send us back to Sheffield if we booze on the way home?

  • might stay sober then

  • Hope they are more organised at Charlton then they were for the Sheff Wed game. The 9am coach left at 9:30 and then drove along the North Circular to get to the M1. Very slow progress.

With more coaches there on Sunday, 7am is cutting it fine as I doubt they will leave on time and they will need to stop.

    I'm driving this time.
