This Pardew business

Years ago whilst at Uni in Canterbury, during days of unsegregated supporters, I was at a match and someone threw a punch at me. I avoided the punch, and head butted the culprit. (Possibly with a little more contact than Pardew) The police didn't see the punch at me, but they saw my retaliation. I got 100 hours community service to be served for 2 hour periods at 3pm every Saturday. I trust Alan Pardew will receive something similar.

  • Pardew is a joke. he should know how to behave holding such a position and to quote "emotions running high" is pure B......., he was 3 - 1 up. Chuck him out of football for good.
  • No. He was pushing him away with his head end of.
  • Which game
    What was your community service
Did it affect your career options

    Just interested.....
  • I think it was Keown on telly earlier suggesting that Pardews gang have some sort of plan where the whole bench rushes out to argue with officials oppo manager etc some sort of intimidation tactic

Can't remember the game to be honest. Clearing up rubbish, and a bit of forestry work. It was on a Saturday so it didn't have any effect on work. It was reduced to 60 hours in the end for "good behaviour"

  • If a Premiership footballer never went down cant have been much contact!!!!
  • Hasn't Pardew always had a screw loose?

    Definitely a loose knob.

  • Loathe the bloke and hope the FA throw the book at him. The only thing that has kept him in the job up there is Newcastle scouting system. His purchases at CAFC were poor.
  • Newcastle fans have got rid of Kinnear, but still stuck with Pardew and Ashley, who is exploiting their loyalty.
  • Do the Geordies know the words to our witty ditty which we sang to him on his last visit?
  • Not the first time he has done something like this... He must really think he is Mr Tough guy..

  • Some people have an in built self destruct button - and I think he is one of them!

when they showed his blow up at Wenger im sure it was Keith Peacock pulling him away ? was KP with him at WHU then ?
  • It was noteworthy that in the background footage of the head butt incident was a giant kick it out advert. Which was emblazened with the words "Report it."
  • Pardew should've been sacked. Gross misconduct, IMO. Bringing the game and barcodes into disreptute
  • Blokes a proper nob enough said

  • Such a d*ckhead.

    It's amazing really.
  • Why was he not given a 3 year Banning order?
  • It's time that all managers were made to stay in the dugout during games. Too much attention is paid to red faced fat old geezers (and skinny younger versions) in ill-fitting track suits/other leisure apparel going apoplectic at 'disgraceful refereeing decisions' ... I want to watch football and not a bunch of overacting pantomime dames, the players do enough of that as it is
  • He has history - it won't be the last time - too old to change now. Tw*t.

    He's a camp thug
  • i think he is a manager who i genuinely believe has got lucky. he did a good job at reading, started doing well at west ham until he went on a terrible run, he joined us and started off well but he failed expensively in the end, causing a relegation. he joined southampton and caused a falling out with the owner only achieving good results in a league which is poor in standard to the team he had. he got literally so lucky at getting the newcastle job and had a great first full season, then he had a stonker and now he is having an average season for a club the size of newcastle. he is average and cannot control himself.

But this was more entertaining than the football.
