"Our beloved uncle, Colin Cameron, was a true life-long fan of Charlton Athletic who developed from an early age an encyclopaedic knowledge of 'his' Club, acquired through passion. He wrote regularly for the match programme and was proud to be the official Club Historian/Statistician. His love and knowledge of the Club was unsurpassed and will sadly never be replicated.
Colin will be remembered by sports reporters and fans alike for always being willing to share his knowledge - often far beyond the call of duty - a kindness and generosity uncommon in his field.
We loved him. We were and are very proud of him and it is fitting that in his memory we are delighted to be able to recognise his contribution to Charlton Athletic by passing on many items from Colin's private collection of memorabilia to the Charlton Athletic Museum. We are sure Colin would be immensely proud of this contribution. May he live on in the history of CAFC, a lovely man, missed enormously."
The room has been emptied (see pics) but it now needs decorating (underway) and more importantly proper museum standard cabinets and display equipment.
