better attitude needed

mosto f our fans have given up on this season, reading through this website is so depressing right now, whilst it is less depressing than after the donny match, we need to sort ourselves out. if we are to stay up, we need to be united and support the team, not be cynical and self doubting. we could have gone down last season had we not gone on the run, so why not think it can happen again. it hasn't been a great season but finally the team played football well against birmingham and whilst we lost, if we play like that again and again we will end up with more than enough to stay up. so let's be positive and get behind the team because at times i feel like osme of you are just here to be negative and moan.

Comments

  • I actually find moaning on here is quite therapeutic and helps me to be able to support the team when they are actually in front of me. And whilst there is a lot of moaning on here I haven't heard much of it at the ground.
    So complain away people!
  • Well said, Jackmeisterflesh.

  • I sympathise with the sentiment behind this but I am fed up of watching crap football and never winning.

It's not our fault! We don't own / run the club. We don't play. We don't make the substitutions. We don't have any influence on a Green running around, falling over and getting booked.

However no moaning from now on in!

Now what shall we talk about.........
  • We're doomed!
  • Free the Mosto Four!
  • We went on a run last season mostly using players that had over a year left on their contracts.

Ask yourself how much effort you would put into a job where you were working out your notice ?

Jamie Rednapp commented (this week somewhere) about players in his day, pulling out of tackles if they were short timers, because of the difficulty getting a deal elsewhere while on the treatment table / passing a medical.

IMHO - There is something worrying going on behind the scenes that we don't know about. (NB no proof or evidence).

I agree with this. I don't get why as soon as someone posts something negative they get accused of getting the white flag out. To say that you think we're going down, which I do, has no impact on the fortunes of the team. I support the team 100% when I'm at games, regardless of whether I come on here and moan or not.

    A fair shout
  • We need to put our negative thoughts aside and show the players just how much WE care. That will motivate them. We still at this stage have an excellent chance of staying up, have lot's of games left and also games in hand. Only two weeks ago we were a few minutes away from a great win at Wigan. The new players sound very promising but will need a few games to bed in. What we mustn't do is start thinking that we are too good to go down. We have to fight to change our luck and make things start to go our way. It may take a lucky deflection or a penalty in the last minute, but if we put enough effort in, we can and will turn things around.
  • We'll stay up easy
