Communication from the club

I have to say that communication from the club to the fans has been nothing short of superb literraly since the day the previous idiots left.

Whoever it is making the decision to inform us of what's going on, well done.

It must be such a relief for the comms team to be able to do what they're actually employed to do.

Good idea, but not a very well-written survey. Park and ride? From where? Charlton station?!

RM our Chairman is and has been in favour of greater communication, and its fair to say that of the SMT too, I have no doubt his influence is counting in many areas, hopefully we can build on that. As others will no doubt say this is nothing new, but its certainly welcomed back.

CAS Trust has been working on collaborative surveys since last summer. The first the club promoted for us, this was followed immediately by an internal CAFC website one, and the matchday collaborative one is another culmination of this.

The view of the Trust board in this case is that a collaborative effort means both viewpoints have influence on questions and interpreting the outcomes. It is also something we are keen to promote not just for PR or for marketing, but plain and simply it is giving real fans a say and a chance to make suggestions on a formal basis.

Once complete hopefully it can also be the basis to argue the commercial case for improvements.

On another note, we may break through the 1000 member barrier tonight..
  • Putting statements ourt with the title 'statement from the club' is pretty poor though. And do you think they meant the website to be survey rather than survet?
