Just a Quick Question...

  • And a quick question for you me sad old Nigel, were the neck braces expensive in the club shop to watch the Pukis up and under hoof ball or did you still have some left over from when the Dons played at your dump? :0)
  • For the first time in my life I consider Millwall bigger rivals than Palace because of the current league positions. That's just the way it goes.

Nah, Millwall always have been and always will be.
Maybe a generation thing. I'm in my mid twenties and Millwall have been 2 seasons below us for a lot of my life so never really considered them a rival. At least Palace had their one season wonders in the Premier League.
  • I wouldn't say it's a complete dump sainsbury adds a massive value to it
  • The football isn't as bad as you'd think, especially now we have a front 4 of Puncheon, Bolasie, Ince and Chamakh, hardly a bunch of hoofball merchants are they? I'd take a couple of years of direct football anyway at PL level if it means we can redevelop Selhurst Park, that's the only thing holding us back at present.

Trust me @Norfolk_Addick the Spanners have been and always will be to us old guard our bitter rivals, the stripey Nigel's are just a mere irritation, joke of a club.
  • My points are :-
Far as I am concerned you did not sell out at The Valley, other teams have had higher support in our away end (couldn't give a flying what your website says)

Sterile block of................increase as football loving people veer clear of your cringeworthy ultras and family attacking mugs

Well I can't change the mind of someone who is set in their ways, it looked packed when KG blasted in the winner. Again though, why did you choose to bring that up? Your supporters creamed themselves over Rommedahl's last minute winner from their sofas. I say sofas because the away end was quite literally half empty, pot, kettle, black etc etc.

Having a sterile block is part of the Met Police's master plan to control everything regarding football.

I've said before, every set of supporters have some complete idiots, our "supporters" involved in that train incident are a highlight, just like your fans who were chanting racist songs about Stephen Lawrence.
  • It looked packed - check out reality - you didn't fill it. I was in my local for Rommedahls winner. What incident ? I am talking about last week at Highbury (or whatever it is called now)

If we're not allowed to sell more tickets, that clearly suggests we had sold out our allocation. I have no idea why that's so hard for you to compute. Your website also says we had 400 more fans than Brighton did, so it's obvious you're talking rubbish.

I've no idea what you're talking about regarding Arsenal away. I assumed you were on about the time Palace fans inexplicably attacked Charlton fans on a train. Thankfully, they're banged up now.

  • Rather eat a toenail sandwich than take bait from a palarse fan on our own forum... petty club and the stadium and fans show that, players are a lot better than ours though.
  • Think you need to visit your own pages to read about your scum at Arsenal, you did not fill our away end like we did yours last season
  • Short term the wheel has turned and Crystal Palace are outdoing us. However medium to long term they will have to face the Selhurst Park issue and that solution will cost shedloads. Palace fans have got to hope Parish has opened a savings account.
  • Churley1...... you sound like a quite sensible chap. You state your points with a modicum of respect and have actually done well not to respond aggressively to some of the comments from my fellow addicks. This does however lead me to wonder why on earth someone like that (you) would be interested in posting on another clubs site at a time when the two clubs have very little in common. Very odd

Given your current league positions, there could be a huge bragging rights on the table if one of you stays up.

D'ya reckon you will? I haven't a clue what your side is like this season except that you have some very complicated surnames now.

Not sure at the moment. Really depends how we gel in next few weeks. It'll be tough, and our squad is fairly weak.
  • I think it is time for your nappy change Churley!
  • Why react to a palace fan, you've just given him/her exactly what they want

Palace will always be the team I see as more of a rival, but I understand that where I live has a huge effect on that. I only know a few spanners, but I know plenty of nigels.

Although there is a point to be made about our younger fans disliking palace, maybe because we've played them more often over the last decade?

True, but there is so much cash in the Premier League now that as long as they don't spend the dough on "Carlos Kickabouts" then they will have plenty of money to re-develop the ground.

Even since we left the gravy train in 2007 the TV money has escalated substantially.

What sellout only holds 24,900 ? Saw highlights - restricted view opposite the tv gantry - glad all over my arse

A sterile block of about 800 seats exists between the two sets of supporters and our capacity has been reduced in recent years. I'm still not sure what your point is though and you ignored the fact we sold out at The Valley.

    Not True

Same reason why I don't post on the boards of other registered donkey sanctuary charities.

i.e. I've been banned from all of them for being a sad act
  • Glen................."MURRAY"

Wot an utterly sad sad football club Nigel United are!
  • Goal music is cringe, the fact Palace has two bits of goal music sums it up.

And the announcer, sounds like his name is actually Nigel.
  • Stadiums that play goal music, like Wigan 2 weeks ago, need to make up for the fact they have no fans or when they score their fans don't sing.
