Oh yes. The stall will be sited behind the North Stand and gales and driving rain aside should be quite visible with balloons and bunting. £5:00 to join and money well spent for any Addick ;0) Cash money accepted
He was the Rodney Marsh of Falconwood Field in his day, I'd have you know :-)
I will take that as a compliment.
Although I do remember Rodney playing against us and the covered end singing 'Rodney is a fairy'. On scoring his third he pranced off holding out the bottom of his shorts.
Very well lots to organise but many hands to the pumps, and despite the conditions. Renewals and new Members continue, photo calls, pitch side ACV presentation. TNT seemed to go down well.
RM was keen to help us celebrate the status, and the club (with messrs Bradshaw and Kensell doing their best to help things run smoothly) opened up the Board Lounge so we could entertain some fans and volunteers, the likes of Supporters Direct, Clive Efford, Nick Raynsford, and Greg Dyke who was a last minute entry. pretty sombre mood tho after the match as you can imagine.
We recorded a section for BBC London radio, and I believe CLive covered the stall, we had a good photo call down there too.
Am also hearing we are the biggest most active Trust in the Championship, top of the league in that sense - if only we were in the other..
Culmination of nearly two years work. Whatever folks say about Muzza he has backed our engagement with the club 100%.
By the way, that membership makes us, according to Supporters Direct, the third biggest in the Champ., and closing in on Blackburn , in second place. The biggest is at Leeds, although that Trust is not without its controversy.
The relevance of this point is, that most people don't usually join Trusts unless they see an imminent threat to their Club. At both Leeds and Blackburn, fans have very good reason to be concerned about the activities, or should I say antics, of their clubs' owners. The Swansea Trust, the well-deserved pin-up of the trust movement, now has less than 1,000 paid members, on a home match average of 15,000, whereas at its height, it had 3,000 on a match average of 5,000.
We are therefore trying to explain to Katrien in particular that "only" 1,000 members is not a sign of weakness or lack of relevance. On the contrary, these benchmarks show that we are one of the strongest. It's something I keep reminding Razil when he gets down in the dumps, because he started this, and has made a success of it, when two previous attempts failed.

Yes, it's very short though I promise !
Where exactly will it be?
Outside the North Stand, near the big badge
How would you like payment?
Cash please
What about kids?
Under 16s can become junior members (main difference is they aren't allowed voting rights) for free.
Hopefully others will now know about the stall and join as well.
We've been averaging around 20+ new members per home game which is great. it's also renewal time for some which can be done at the stall too.

Is this true and how can you get one?
E mail secretary@castrust.org. If you've already renewed I'll send you one. If your renewal isn't due yet you can renew in advance.
Or buy one for £2.50 (including postage)
We had a surge in membership this time last year so there are about 70 people due for renewal now.
