2014/15 Season Tickets - When? How Much?

Last year the Club announced season ticket prices on 15th February (I think) and offered the discounted price until 8th April. Something similar happened the year before. The thing is in both those seasons we were pretty sure what league we would be playing in the following season so could make an informed choice.
What's the Club's policy likely to be this time round?
How will the club be able to market tickets and at what price with the uncertainty of possible (probable?) relegation?
Or will the ticket launch be delayed?
Any views?

  • I can't see ST prices going up personally, reckon we'll get a deal to renew at expiry price, with possibly a small inc after a cut off date.
  • We don't even know what division we're going to be in next season , how can they announce prices yet?
  • It doesn't really matter what league we are in next year though...the price will not come down (unless the new owners do something drastically unexpected)! It will be 23 home games, whatever division. I expect that the offer will be for the same as now for an initial period and then probably go up depending on what division we are in - a small amount if relegated (maybe £25 a seat) and a bit more (maybe £50?) if in the Championship. Anything else (ie a higher price hike) would have a susbstantial effect on ST numbers, and I doubt the new owners would want to see their investment vehicle struggle on with smaller crowds.
  • I think Norwich had an early renewal scheme that the ST prices for the following season would £XXX but if they got relegated, a refund of xx% could be re-claimed. They did get relegated but I read somewhere that not everybody claimed for the refund.
  • I wouldn't pay championship prices for League 1 Footie. Will be pay as I go. Will only consider a ST in the event of relegation if the price drops from this year. Will also want to see how the RD experiment pans out a little before committing (I'm cautiously optimistic at the moment having recovered from the depths of despair on deadline day morning, but it wouldn't take much to pee me off).
  • Believe next season is the last year of my VIP ticket, so don't need to worry too much.

If the original poster is correct and prices were announced last year in February, then we didn't now what division we'd be in then either. In fact up until the beginning of March, we looked more likely to go down than stay up.
