  • we have to go to a family do near Derby on Saturday and guess what Leicester is under an hour from Derby, so bye bye family for the afternoon we'll be back for dinner. Anyway they are all Spurs, Gillingham or Cardiff armchair supporters - it's the Lass's lot not mine :)
  • am there with 2 of the next generation.
  • looking forward to this even more now. any decent pubs for this?
  • Looking forward to this.
  • 6 of us going... Not been to the new ground. Looking forward to it
  • Best places for a pre beer?
  • Charlton Ticket News ‏@CAFCTickets
TICKET UPDATE @FoxesOfficial sold 732 so far.

Any suggestions for a good place for beer and food between the train station and the ground?

Numbers picked up since our FA cup win. No idea about where the away pub is... Anyone???
  • On the 10:15 train from st pancras. New ground for me.
  • Leicester is usually 6 points a season for us. Now the Kerminator has gone, I'm not so sure.

9 points off them in the 3 games he has played against them with him scoring in all 3 and all 3 being 2-1 wins I do believe (I attended all 3 and this will be #4).

This is one of the biggest games of the season for me. My dad (a fair weather Leicester fan) will be in the away stand with his two sons (me and my brother) and my friend who are all die hard charlton fans. My dad is quite seriously ill with picks disease at the moment (early onset Alzheimer's he's only 54) so this might be one of the last we get to go to with him for as he's deteriorating physically and mentally at a rapid pace. The issue is I'm terrified if Leicester score and win that he will shout out and cheer for Leicester (his decision making is seriously affected, and emotions are exaggerated). I still haven't come to terms with it all to be honest...

So if you see three lads trying to stop a charlton hoard murdering my father please help! Haha.
  • I'm on the 10AM coach from Charlton. So how many have we sold so far then?
  • Just the 2 of us up for this, on the 11 am odd train from St.Pancras
  • 6 of us leaving on the 10.15. Anyone know of a pub where people are heading to?

'Probably the best bet for away fans is the Counting House pub on Freemens Common Road."

According to the fan away guide.
