CP a real CAFC Legend

++When he became the first CAFC player in decades to wear the Three Lions shirt-----------------legend

++When he managed the team to 101 points(look how many teams have EVER achieved it)-----------legend

if he walks or gets the sack the above cant be taken away.

what ever happens people like CP deserve a place in modern football a 1000 more times than the mercenary scum that seen to dominate it.

Agree, I've had my problems with CP's management but believe he deserves a chance with some money an he's earnt his chance working under sh*te circumstances over the years.

I hope it all works out, he's a true legend

Agreed, really hope he gets a proper chance under this new and IMO exciting regime in the years to come, i think long term we are going to have a good time as Charlton fans, even if the second half of this season is a drag and want it to be all the better with SCP as the coach.

Why not? He deserves it he's a legend, let's celebrate it stop the misery lets think of Powell as the man that clenched his fists and gestured in achievement everytime we won, the man that broke almost every record known to us when we won league one, the one that was part of the team that got us promoted to the premier league, the one that fronted kick it out campaigns up and down the country and the one that made us smile again for the first time since curbs left. For Christ sake for the sake of him , Charlton, and Charlton life forget the hate and the bad run this season and get behind our team. Whether you're pro Powell or against him we all have one thing in common we are pro Charlton we are a family club that is a happy place to visit and holds an amazing history we are one whole network of supporters if the best most wholesome club on earth so stop the fighting, the digs , the disagreements and wait and see what happens.

He's not making me smile much this season I will always support then team but tactically he hasn't a clue .When we go a goal up he panics throws on defenders and sits back then the team panic .And the rest as they say is history .

I agree he is a CAFC legend. However, that doesn't make him a brilliant manager or coach. Bobby Charlton, one of the world's best players didn't do too well as a manager either.
