Stats, stats and stats

I work with statistics and some are good, some are bad and some are in a grey area.

However, it is a fact that after 27 games we have scored 23 and conceded 36. This is the lowest total of goals in games we have played in the whole division.

Indeed, our friends from Millwall have conceded 50% more goals but are above us.

I know I am stating the obvious but we need to start scoring even if we concede a few more.

Whilst it was impressive to hold on for 88 mins today, we need to score more. Will it happen?

    As I keep saying - goals win games. You could have the best defence in the world and never let a goal in, but if you never went up the other end and scored, so that every game ended 0-0 then with a tally of 46 points you'd probably get relegated. Therefore you HAVE to score goals more than you have to keep clean sheets. And it is as simple as that.
