I was as gutted as anyone after the final whistle went, but sometimes we have to try and win ugly, if we had won today everyone would all be praising Powell. If he had put less defensive or more attacking subs the same thing might have happened and you would still be having a go at Powell for being too risky! We did our best and it was a true blood and guts display out there. We were unlucky and we have been very much so this season. Powell may take responsibility for some mistakes in the past, but he is always learning and has proven many times just how much quality he has as a manager. Honestly, as soon as things begin to get tough we have to stick together NOT get on each others backs, I sore this with curbs, and just the same thing could happen again. After all this clubs been through, we should be tougher than this.
Rant over, I appreciate its the minority of supporters. Onwards and upwards, COYR!

Well done to all the fans at Wigan today. Also,at half-time by the food and drinks, everyone was talking and very animated, the best reaction I've heard for a long time at an away game.Expectations are there already.Maybe it was ditching the brain-dead "long-ball to Yann"stuff and playing fast attacking football to feet?Seeing a striker like Gucci who looks a real threat and worked his socks off, this guy should be great.
Back the players sacked the manager before it is to late.
Oh and we sang pretty much non stop getting behind the boys
We have new players in the team--instil them with confidence through your support.Don't sit there and bitch--applaud the good pass,shot,tackle,team-play---we are so negative in our home support. We have what ten games left at home now,if we took say 20-22 points from those, and we have helped by tremendous unflinching vocal support, then the fans can be very proud at playing their part.

Like the fans of any club in the bottom 3 at this stage of the season you have to clutch at straws, crumbs of comfort. Our woeful Home form down to a management team unable to make positive change mid-game when required.
Unless we see a change in that mindset as occurred in the final quarter of last season then I'm afraid we won't even be finishing above scum.
Powell, is too easily out-thought by his opposite number especially at the valley. He's not learnt from his mistakes hence our perilous position.
Why?
Because both Players and Management Staff are working their socks off for the same thing which to represent Charlton Athletic Football Club and to try ensure we remain in this Division.
